Writing down what you are grateful for every day not only makes you stay present but also changes your outlook on life. The difference between looking at your life and seeing it as bleak or dull versus full of joy and happiness is a choice. The choice to make your life better starts with actively doing something that is better and also creates a positive habit.
Now, we are all human and we have our moments, days, or weeks where we could care less about anything, this is where gratitude can really change your life. By grabbing a journal and writing down 5 things every day that you are grateful for in your life can change your mental state and make you see things through a better lense.
The best way to really make a change and fast is to write down 5 things you are grateful for first thing in the morning when you wake up and do it daily. As the days go on you will get better and better at this. You will also notice a change in your mood for the better. It creates a domino effect that will change your thinking and your life.
