How to relieve the pressure of doing it all

Life is busy and we all get caught up in this constant state of do, do, do. That is not always the most productive and sometimes it makes us feel like we are running around like a chicken with our head cut off.

With the pressure of holding it together for our jobs, our families, our friends and then trying to find some time to do stuff for ourselves it becomes stressful, exhausting and uninspiring.

I have discovered something that works for me, can be used every day, allows you to prioritize your to do list and makes you feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

This habit not only helps you get things done, it eases anxiety, stress and is really simple to implement.

Grab a piece of paper, a sticky note, or a notebook and write down 3 things that are the most important to get done for that day. Focus on getting them done before noon, but if it takes all day thats fine too. You will notice that just focusing on 3 things a day takes a lot of the pressure off and makes you feel like you accomplished a lot by then end of every day.

Lots of successful people use this method and I encourage you to give it a try. If you do try it, leave me a comment and let me know how it worked out for you!
